English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a bilingual school based in Jinhua. This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.

This is an international bilingual academy that was created as a fully-owned member school in 2010 by an Education & Technology Group. It has schools in Beijing, Zhejiang and Shandong. The use of Chinese and English in a multifaceted approach across disciplines means that students enjoy not only bilingual teaching, but a multi-cultural and international education.

Job Description

• Teach the subject of English to middle school students utilizing the IGCSE framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor or above degree in education of English or other related subjects’ studies
• Teaching certification
• Enthusiasm, commitment, patience, and a passion for teaching, and deep dedication to learning and developing as an educator
