English ESL and IELTS Teacher

We are looking for an English ESL and IELTS Teacher for an International High School in Suzhou. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

It offers a bilingual junior high program based on the IB MYP framework and a senior high pathway with both A-Level and IB Diploma options. Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English ESL and IELTS to high school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 20,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
