English ESL Teacher

We are looking for English ESL Teachers for an international High School based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

Situated in Chengdu, this esteemed international high school specializes in providing exceptional education for students in grades 9 to 12. With its extensive facilities, the school offers dormitories capable of accommodating approximately 300 students. Committed to academic excellence, the school provides a curriculum based on the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for grades 9 to 10, and equips students in grades 11 to 12 with Advanced Placement (AP) and A-Level courses to further enhance their educational journey.

Job responsibilities:

• Teach ESL lessons (listening, speaking, public speaking, academic writing) to grades 9-12
• Organize and train students to participate in various English competitions
• Help students with English reading comprehension and problem-solving
• Design courses like English drama and world culture etc.
• Manage class, test paper design, and ensure teaching quality
• Attend academic seminars, parents' meetings, and company gatherings
• Provide regular reports on students' progress and classroom feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above majored in Literature, Education or other related majors
• More than 3 years ESL teaching experience
• TESOL, TEFL, PGCE certification
• Proficient in English listening and speaking

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary range of 20,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
