Design Technology Teacher

We are looking for a Design Technology Teacher for an International School based in Nanning. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

Bilingual school situated in Yongning District of Nanning provides a complete K-12 education with an international focus. It comprises an early year’s center catering to pupils aged between 2 to 6 years and a separate day and boarding school for primary, middle, and high school students (aged 6 to 18 years) that follows a bilingual British curriculum.

Job responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering high quality Design Technology lessons to students in secondary education
• Nurturing the school’s passion for innovation, though curriculum design, delivery of lessons and creating opportunities outside the classroom
• Be an excellent teaching practitioner in planning, preparing and delivering well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and maximizing their learning progress
• Set homework according to policy and pertinent to the student’s ability and wider workload

Requirements

• Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other relevant teaching qualification
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching Design Technology in a Senior School setting
• Working knowledge of KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels as appropriate

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB depending on experience and qualifications
