Design Teacher

We are looking for a Design Teacher for a College based in Chengdu. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible or from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

About the school

Public independent Art college based in The Longquanyi district in Chengdu. The college is made up of four academic departments: fine arts and design, film and animation, music and dance, and the international department. As of now, there are over 3,000 students enrolled in the college, including full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, and international degree students.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Design courses for international students (undergraduate and graduate students) in the School of Art and Design
• Holding professional lectures and public classes
• Guide students to participate in domestic and provincial or above discipline competitions or international competitions
• Participate in the revision of talent development programs, professional development planning, curriculum syllabus and curriculum content
• Participate in the development of the school

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in relevant subject
• Have strong teaching and research ability, graduate students and above. Be able to undertake the teaching of design courses;
• Good command of English, Chinese is preferred;
• Background in Environmental Design, Visual Communication Design, Product Design, etc.
