Computer Science Teacher

We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher for an International School based in Chongqing. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

Job details

• Teach the school’s computer science curriculums to students between Year 9 and Year 13.
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related education major
• Hold a recognized teaching qualification
• Excellent English communication skills
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in teaching Computer Science
• IG and A-Level experience
• International and bilingual school working experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Housing allowance of 4,500 to 5,500 RMB/month
