Our main program is a 9-week long full-stack coding course which is very intensive and empowering for the participants. Our students are future web developers, start-up founders, project managers, and technical business-people. Altogether we are a global team of 150+ seasoned mentors and over 1,700 trainees in 12 countries and over 20 cities. In China, our audience and influence is growing and we need a passionate community manager to take good care of its future!"

Your role
- Your primary responsibility will be to grow our online and offline presence and help convert interested entrepreneurs into students
- Expand the education network of Le Wagon in Chengdu
- Build a pipeline of local and foreign prospective students
- Grow the pool of tech/digital professionals contributing to our mission in China
- Find and work with amazing spaces to hold public classes and workshops
- Secure deals to spread the word to the smartest local students
- Inspire people to learn to code manage our social channels and publish stories in both Chinese and English written by yourself or adapted from our global assets
- Coordinate stakeholders (places speakers participants and communication channels) to organize regular meetups
- Engage with followers and prospective and current students to make their learning experience fun and exciting
- Voice your opinion on everything that will bring value to the community!

What will be the challenges
- Chinese localization of operations while matching the culture of our global brand
- Explanation of the key value proposition and management of expectations
- Keeping up with the volume of meetings + follow-ups required to stay on top of things
- Entrepreneurs are night owls we meet them at night in events
- Our community is very engaged and will contact us constantly for quick Q&A opportunities and help
- Track and document all metrics contribute in our China playbook share best practices to other teams in China (Shanghai+)
- Focus on what matters: providing value to our community!
