Key responsibilities:

  1. Branding tasks including both online and offline branding – online branding related to
    product design websites interfaces while offline branding related to shelving product
    packaging as well as promotional materials

  2. Alignment of branding tasks with overall company objectives and goals


What you will do:

  1. Assist in researching developing and implementing a branding image to align with
    competitors and strategically target customers

  2.  Analyze the brand to identify and compare with competitors pinpoint weak points and
    find solutions and opportunities to strengthen the brand image

  3. Present clear research reports to management to help develop and implement branding
    strategies

  4. Conduct SEO and find creative ways to elevate the content and branding to achieve
    better search results online

  5. Assist in aligning the brand across all relevant materials such as the website business
    cards locations store displays employee training manuals and promotional materials

  6. Assist in researching designing structuring and integrating the Mercku’s website

  7. Create engaging content for online articles blogs and posts

  8. Produce translations of the website advertisement app store and UI interface content
    as well as product descriptions materials for users and gift displays


Position Requirements

  1.  Bachelor’s Degree or Masters’ Degree in branding or related field

  2. Experience in branding or related field

  3. Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written – native English
    speakers preferred

  4.  Other languages are appreciated especially Mandarin

  5. Solid understanding of effective branding strategies materials and channels

  6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  7.  Strong analytical and planning skills

  8. Experienced in preparing and presenting reports goals and forecasts for future projects

  9. Proficient computer skills and familiarity with branding tools. CMS knowledge is also
    preferred (Mailchimp Wordpress HTML Google Analytics Adwords HubSpot
    Intercom etc.)

  10.  Comfortable with social media and experience in community and brand management

  11. Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and exceed expectations

  12.  Self-motivated and goal oriented having a great “can do” attitude

  13. A fast learner with ambition who works well in a fast-paced and collaborative
    environment

  14. Cross-culture appreciation and ability to work in an international team


Compensation:

  1.  Base salary: 1 2 000 RMB per month

  2. Bonuses are awarded twice per year and each time up to one month salary

  3. Bonuses also paid annually for company performance up to ten month’s worth of salary
    depending on company financial results

  4. Will also be eligible for Mercku’s Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)
