Academic Manager

We are looking for an Academic Manager for an International Kindergarten based in Chengdu's Gaoxin District. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

About the school

International kindergarten with multiple campuses across the country. The school offers Bilingual and International (North American) curriculum to its students where the Bilingual program offers a half day immersive English program and the international program a full day.

Job responsibilities

This role combines teaching with academic leadership. You’ll spend part of your time in the classroom and the rest supporting teachers through evaluations, mentoring, and upholding academic standards. You'll also engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to foster a strong learning environment.

• Teach a class half day per week
• Conducting teacher's evaluations(monthly and performance)
• Upholding the school's academic standards
• Conduct oral placement/entrance tests for potential students.
• Design and implement demo classes for prospective students when needed
• Providing mentor ship for teachers and students
• Providing leadership
• Maintaining a good relationship with parents and the community

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
• TEFL/TESOL Certificate
• Excellent English communicative skills
• Energetic and passionate about teaching

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from 24,000 to 27,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Contract completion bonus is 9,000 RMB
