CrossFit Instructor X2

Boxing, Muay Thai or related Martial Arts Instructor X2
(All positions are offered on a full-time basis, qualified part-time applicants maybe considered)

Primary Job Description:

CrossFit

Lead or contribute in designing and executing the Boot camp and On-ramp course curriculum, and be able to carry a maximum of 25 training sessions on a weekly basis;
Ensure the safety and soundness of athletes’ workout, which is also our outmost priority! We require that all our instructors to lead in front of the class, be able to demonstrate proper forms of each exercise, keeping a constant eye and correcting athletes’ on-going exercises, effectively using warm-up and cool-down periods before and after class to avoid injuries;
Involve in our community building events, which may include in-house competitions, marketing events, community outings and parties, etc.
Familiarize in operating software and APPs that our facility uses to manage our facility and client base

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred;
A valid CrossFit Level-1 (or above) certification, preference will be given to candidates with additional CrossFit discipline certifications and or other internationally recognized fitness certifications;
Minimum of 1-year coaching experience with an affiliated CrossFit box
Fluent in English and preferably also in mandarin Chinese
Be culturally sensitive, Chinese in large are super friendly despite how its portrayed in popular media, as a team, we respect differences of opinions, we would also like our coaches to be sensitive to those differences and tactfully communicate with our athletes in confronted
Minimum 1 year commitment to the box is needed, unless you have lived aboard before, this will be a pleasant eye-opening experience, and it may also be a tough decision. We understand what it may take, and are willing to accommodate, but as a team, we are looking for dependability and availability.
