The scenic designer is hired to create the best possible setting/scenery for a interactive production that will serve both the playwright and the director’s interpretation of the work, and stay within the budget of the producing organization. The set must also work within the designated playing space/stage, with its specific size, shape, relationship to the audience and sight lines.

They work in close collaboration with other specialists to conceive, design and prototype interactive experiences.
